Stef you were that rarest of individuals. Intellectually gifted, naturally curious, practically adept, kind, funny, sociable, compassionate and a loving father to Peter and Thomas. We will remember you for these things and so much more. Your parting leaves us with sorrow, your memory fills us with joy.
You remain with us forever. Love Greg and Lisa xx

My memories of Stefan are always chatting with him in the kitchen at a family party and the help he gave me when I was doing GCSE German. He wrote to me in German and corrected my replies! He made me smile through a glint in his eye. Thanks for the little memories Stefan.
Lots of love from Ellie, Andy & Tor xxx

One of my memories of Stefan has always made me chuckle.
On a visit to see the Seifert family, I gladly accepted the delightful bedtime task of reading a story to Thomas and Peter. The small boys were snuggled up in their cots watching closely as Stefan handed me their bedtime reading and guidance on which page to read to. With Stefan now downstairs I nervously suggested to the boys that they might perhaps on this occasion, lower their expectations on this evening’s reading performance.
There was no need for me to be nervous because Stefan had chosen Spike Milligan’s brilliantly, funny book, ‘A Children’s Treasury of Milligan’ for me to read. Thank goodness for Stefan’s great sense of humour and his excellent choice of bedtime reading.
Still chuckling. Viv
