Stefan and his best man stayed with us on the night before he and Kathy were married. He was so happy to be marrying the girl he loved dearly. On the wedding morning he didn't show any sign of nerves just looking forward to the day ahead. It was great to see him demolish a hearty continental breakfast complete with a good selection of "Wurst", but let's face it he loved his food. I remember Stefan bringing the twins to see us when they were about 4 to 5 years old and I happened to mention that in the garage we had a 60 plus year old Kinderroller which had belonged to Carl, my German brother. Being a good quality German scooter, Stefan was very interested and before long he and the boys spent a great time testing it out. Stef was very happy living here in the U.K. but his roots were never forgotten. He loved his Deutschland with a tremendous passion. I will drink a traditional glass of German mulled wine and say cheers to STEFAN, the gentle giant we all loved. Fondest love from Judy and my dear late Jeff xxx
